As an architecture graduate from Mumbai in 1994, I embarked on a journey that has been marked by a steadfast commitment to excellence in design and a profound understanding of the impact our work has on lives. Starting as an intern with a distinguished local architect, I imbibed a crucial lesson: every stroke of the pencil represents not just monetary value but also the wellbeing of those who will inhabit the spaces we create.

Progressing through roles as a junior architect to senior positions on landmark projects like the Reliance Petrochemicals complex in Jamnagar and the iconic Ruia House in Mumbai, I honed my skills in architectural and interior design. My tenure overseeing corporate interiors for Reliance Retail expanded my purview, culminating in leadership roles in architecture and business development.

Venturing into diverse projects, from data centers in Qatar to pharmaceutical facilities in Mumbai, I leveraged my expertise to lead teams towards innovative solutions and sustainable practices. A postgraduate degree in Urban & Regional Planning further enriched my ability to conceptualize and execute large-scale infrastructure projects across global markets.

Passionate about sustainability, I spearheaded initiatives to reduce carbon footprint and championed interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve corporate objectives. Founding “abarch architects” in 2019, I continue to shape the built environment through purposeful design, master planning and related services.

Beyond professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of architects as a visiting faculty, juror, and mentor at esteemed institutions. Actively engaged in reforming architectural education, I contribute to the advancement of teaching methodologies as a member of the local IIA chapter in Maharashtra.
